Zai founded HiveTek in 2023 and built it into an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner within its first year — a tier most partners take considerably longer to reach. Under his leadership the firm has delivered more than 500 cloud projects, earned two AWS Competencies and three AWS Service Delivery designations, and built a team holding over 100 AWS certifications.

He came to it after more than a decade in the AWS ecosystem. Inside AWS as a Senior Solutions Architect, he advised enterprises on the architecture behind their most demanding workloads — the migrations, the data platforms and the analytics estates that boards had already funded and nobody could quite land.

The pattern he kept meeting is the reason HiveTek exists. Companies had real ambition for AI and analytics and no shortage of budget; what they lacked was a single partner willing to own the whole journey rather than a slice of it. He saw the opportunity to help those customers directly, and left to do it.

Today HiveTek leads digital transformation end to end — cloud foundation and managed services through to data platforms, analytics and AI — for organizations from high-growth startups to global enterprises. Zai's conviction is that cloud value is an operating discipline, not a project: get the architecture right, prove it in dollars, then leave the practices behind so it stays right.

Shabina leads HiveTek's partnerships and delivery — the professional services and managed services practice behind the firm's Advanced Tier standing and its 500+ completed projects.

She spent over a decade in the Amazon and AWS ecosystem before that. At AWS she was a Technical Infrastructure Manager in Cloud Infrastructure and Data Center Planning, responsible for the capacity behind AWS's hyperscale expansion — aligning multi-year infrastructure forecasts with product roadmaps and financial strategy, where a single mis-sized assumption is worth tens of millions of dollars. She raised forecast accuracy by 10% and found a two-year overstatement in storage capacity planning that removed $45 million in cost.

That is the discipline she brought to the other side of the relationship. Most companies don't overspend on AWS because they're careless — they overspend because nobody is sizing what they buy against what they actually need.

At HiveTek she owns the AWS and technology partnerships and the delivery of the firm's transformation work, helping organizations turn cloud investment into working analytics and AI capability.
